- Pretty sure that’s the right one. I got mine from suzo happ when I had to replace it but that was probably 8 years ago. Not sure if they still have them but could be another source. Click to expand…

- Sorry about that. Copy and pasting the direct link doesn’t seem to work. It’s the 150w with on/off switch (really it’s a button, and it’s on the side, you can see it in the picture).

- There are for the more popular classics, like Nintendo’s and Atari’s, that were universal across many games. Not sure about these guys, maybe somebody else knows.
- You could always open the power supply and ID all the caps for yourself, and order them off digi-key or mouser. Make yourself a “cap kit” of sorts. And post up the cap list for the community.
- There’s a fan in the PS too, which would probably be good to replace while you’ve got it open. I would like to know the size and characteristics of the fan also, as mine’s been making some noise on cold mornings.

- That’s what’s on mine, except my bezel is gone. Was in rough shape when I got the cab…oddly because the rest of the cab was super clean…but then I left it out of the cab for too long in my garage and won’t go into the rest of the details. It was beyond salvage.

- Yes all factory, exactly what was on mine, but the monitor shroud on mine is more of a construction paper type material. For the chassis, there should be sticker on the left side of the tray it sits on, if you’re looking in the back of the cab, which has the model number. Probably a wg 25k7193. Guarantee it’s a 25k7xxx. If the sticker is gone, post pics of the chassis, remote board and neck board in the monitor section, it will get id’d.

I started to take apart the glass which i thought was plexi in front of the monitor turns out it was glass, anyhow i started pulling it apart to find many layers of things. just wondering if this is all factory or did someone make these things. pics below. its a second gen blue. around the monitor there is a plastic bezel then on top of that a square bezel made of wood then on top of that there was a paper bezel with stickers on the top and bottom showing the character moves then on top of that the glass. Is that all supposed to be in there from factory? I also uploaded a picture of the monitor chassis would you be able to tell me what type of monitor ir is so I could order a cap kit for it? I know its a wells Gardner but which one? Click to expand…

- acblunden2 said: Your cab looks 100% factory. I know this because I have a SSF2 Gen 2 cab that is 100% factory. It is glass, construction paper bezel, wood bezel backing, felt paper monitor blackout cloak. You monitor looks to be a K7000 series, which was what is in mine. Make sure you take that thing out and give it a nice Simple Green wash. Vacuum out the inside of the cab while you are at it. FYI, screen in front of monitor is glass on the Gen 2 and doesn’t have tint. Tint is factory on the Gen 1 SF2CE monitor glass. Marquees on Gen 2 Big Blue’s are printed on to white Plexi/Lexan. I managed to pick up a few OG Marquees last year (SFA2, XvSF, SSF2, Dungeons & Dragons). They are quite nice. I have never seen the original SF2CE Big Blue marquee. But I assume they were also printed on white Plexi/Lexan since the Dynamo versions were printed like that.
- Also, not sure if anyone has seen this, but someone made the Capcom Diamond Plate CPO in super hi-res and posted it here: http://fnhot.deviantart.com/art/Capcom-Silver-Diamond-Plate-CPO-Control-Overlay-379907506 Click to expand…

- It’s a wells gardener k7000 series 25” same model that was in mine. Get a k7000 cap kit from arcadepartsandrepair.com or Ian kellogg. Either source is the best for caps. I get all my kits from arcadepartsandrepair.
- The stock marquees are a single piece of printed lexan, is what acblunden is saying Mine had a dead or alive 2 separate marquee with a clear piece of plexi that is blacked out top and bottom cuz the doa 2 marquee is standard height…not stock. I have since replaced with a clear plexi cover and ssf2 big blue marquee. Now knowing the above, I would love to track down an nos marquee.
