- Just keep in mind the 2p CP is designed for two players and is narrower. If you have this cab, effectively making it for 3p is a custom job. The 2p CP however is quite wide and I don’t think it would be too uncomfortable for three players to play on a CP designed for only 2 players. Just know what you are getting yourself into before you do it.
- There is a Big Blue with a wider CP. Creating a CPO for that requires that you make a wider CP box to hold it in. Click to expand…

- LyonsArcade said: I’ve had one of the dark blue ones NOS before, so it must have been around back in the day but I’ve never seen a big blue with it on it so who knows…
- Edit: after looking through some of my old games, I had a Puzzle Fighter once with it on it. I found some more puzzle fighter pictures on the internet with that dark blue overlay too, Puzzle Fighter only uses two buttons so you kind of had to install a new overlay (to cover the other button holes)… so they must have shipped it with the Puzzle Fighter kit (and some others likely).
- Ironically ours was in a big bluish cabinet that was not a big blue, lol
- Edit #2 - I looked in the Puzzle Fighter manual, it shipped with cpo # aw00145-1 … which was first used in Street Fighter: The Movie (according to the manual). Also pops up in the manual for Street Fighter Alpha 2, Vampire Savior, and Dungeons & Dragons Shadow Over Mystara…
- The Aliens Vs. Predator manual lists the overlay as 06-0074 and calls it a “blue marble overlay”… I just pulled my overlay off a dedicated Aliens Vs. Predator and it was the light grey with blue one (like on the flyer) so that must be the part number. Also part # 06-0076 is the Aliens Vs. Predator Marquee, leading me to believe that overlay was probably first used on Aliens Vs. Predator (since the numbers line up)… the “Blue Marble Overlay” also pops up in the manual for Battlearena Toshinden 2 (which wasn’t CPS-II) , Street fighter Alpha, Dark Stalkers, 19XX, Mega Man the Power Battle, Cyberbots, and Street Fighter Zero.
- The later games had the diamond plate one, AW00216 according to the Marvel Vs. Capcom manual. It was also in the manual for street fighter Alpha 3, street fighter EX, Tech Romancer (not CPS-II), JoJo’s Adventure (CPS-III), Capcom Vs. SNK, Street fighter III (new Generation), Plasma Sword, X-Men Vs. Street Fighter Click to expand…

- Nethawk86 said: Yes, that is what I stated in my post so I understand this task. I would need to make a whole new wider CP that’s from the avp cabinet which will just bolt into my cab. I was just asking if someone has turned the 2 player cp into a 3 player and had any issues with space. Click to expand…

- You could always open the power supply and ID all the caps for yourself, and order them off digi-key or mouser. Make yourself a “cap kit” of sorts. And post up the cap list for the community.
- There’s a fan in the PS too, which would probably be good to replace while you’ve got it open. I would like to know the size and characteristics of the fan also, as mine’s been making some noise on cold mornings. Click to expand…

- Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Marquee Scan
- Would someone here be willing to do a high quality scan of their original Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo marquee? All the reproductions out there are not accurate in the bottom right hand corner, the blue hue is off.
- Also from my understanding the original big blue marquees are printed directly on the laxan and its white in the back, well on another cab I purchased from a local operator to me had a custom made marquee with the operators company name and number and it was printed directly on the lexan and has a white back like you all describe from the original big blue marquee, if I scratch it on the back side you could see threw the scratch, so I think this is what you all are referring to how the originals are.
- My question is what is this process called? obviously this operator got this done local to me, I can’t get a hold of him to ask him. I would love to get a high quality accurate scan of it then get the process done on a piece of lexan, it would be super close to the original one that way. Here is some pics of how the custom marquee looks. Could anyone help? Thanks

My MKI, Simpsons and TMNT marquee’s came from him in this fashion and they are phenomenal quality. Click to expand…
