I got what I believe to be a 2nd gen big blue cab, but it does not have Q-Sound, has anyone heard of 2nd gens not having the Q-Sound? I was under the impression all 2nd gens had it. It is all original and no holes for the amp or anything which is why I know it didn’t come with it. On another note I would like to put a Q-Sound setup in it. I’m missing the speakers, the amp transformer and the amp itself, any ideas where I could source an original from?

^Seconding that. I’ve seen 1 Q-sound amp come up here on KLOV, I think it was within the last couple of months. I have never seen one on ebay, and have never seen the transformer or speakers.
I saw recently that someone linked a small simple amp that was like $8 on amazon. I can’t seem to find the link now, but basically it was RCA in and terminals for direct wiring to the speakers for the output. I’m thinking about doing one of these in my Aero City which is non-stereo but regularly gets CPS-2 games played in it.

It may be dumb but Im turning this leland cab into a big blue sorta… Im going to wrap it in all black. Control panel overlay will be capcom diamond plate and not sure what Ill do for the marquee. Maybe street fighter alpha 2. The marquee for the leland cab is same size as big blues marquees.. Top image is my cab and bottom is one I found on a facebook group which does look not to bad if the cpo was changed out.

I have sourced the original Capcom amp and amp transformer. Would anyone here happen to have a set of the original Q-Sound speakers, Speaker Grills and brackets?

Anyone know where to get a Capcom Q-Sound sticker? the one that goes between the speakers on the big blue?

Capcom 2nd Gen Big Blue Q-Sound Speaker Specs
Would anyone happen to know what the original Capcom 2nd Gen Big Blue Speaker specs are, like the driver size, Ohm’s rating and Wattage? I understand they are enclosed in a box, if anyone could remove one driver for me and take a picture of the back of the magnet showing the specs I would be willing to PayPal you some money for your time. I would like to make a speaker cabinet, but would be great to match the driver specs. Thank you

So is there a good substitute for those transformers? Already have 3 amps but the second piece.
