- I’m convinced some of these just weren’t labeled, for instance mine says super street fighter, but you can tell it’s always been an Aliens Vs. Predator… another guy here on KLOV had one the exact same way, I think at the factory they were just popping some of the games in whatever they had in the warehouse. So some of the labels don’t line up to what they originally were, or are just generic (for instance yours may have just said Cabinet: Capcom NQS like sfernandes said).
- Ultimately it doesn’t really matter they’re not technically ‘dedicated’ since they used different cabinets for so many different games.

- Well here’s mine, for reference. Man these are getting faded, probably won’t be able to read them in another 10 years.

- The majority of my first gen big blues are street fighter 3 and they came from different states. Only 2 are blank and my dedicated captain commando lost its tags.

- You may be on to something there sfernandes. Both LyonsArcade’s and my serial tags have the same model number: 020800921. So, at least our two SSF2’s are the same model number.
- Would be good to see if you can find that smaller sticker inside the cab, and hopefully it has a model number on it.
- Mine had a NAOMI w/ Dead or Alive 2 in it when I bought it from the local Nickel City. The CPO, which I believe was original, was not the “dedicated” SSF2 CPO (with the character pictures and descriptions and globe background). I don’t remember exactly which CPO it was…I think it was the diamond mesh. So, given the above, very possible mine was also not truly a dedicated cab.
- The plexi that came in my cab was also correctly sized for the big blue marquee, but with the DOA2 normal size marquee taped onto it. The top 1/3 and bottom 1/3 of the plexi are tinted so the normal size marquee works. I doubt the plexi is original, but it would be interesting to know if that’s something the op had made for the retrofit, or if it was an option for NAOMI games and/or certain company’s release, for retrofitting big blues.

- Ok, so I got Haruman on board to make me a whole new 3 player control box and panel. However, we need the dimensions of both the box and control panel top for him to make it. Can anyone take some time for me that has a wide control panel and grab me the measurements of both pieces?

- I picked up a Snub-top Gen 2 Big Blue today. Of course, the snub top looks funky so I’ll want to rebuild it into a Big-top Gen 2 Big Blue. i mean, if you’re going to have a Big Blue, you better get the proper marquee for it, right?
