- Finally picked up a few grails the other day. The empty shell will be SSF2, and Dark Stalkers will be restored and also have the darksoft mod.
- A guy in Tracy Ca was giving away the Darkstalkers!! Needless to say I swooped on it.

- When ever I see cab deals go to someone that is going to thoroughly enjoy it or is being saved the trash bin, I am happy. I almost drove to Oregon a few months back to pick up some a Gen 2 that was being trashed. Others in the area saved those cabs though. Glad a flipper didn’t beat us both to it, then we’d feel terrible when it’s relisted it for hundreds in two weeks after fitment with a 60-in-1. - Oh man those are sexy. Get a few more and put a CPS3 multi in one, the CPS2 multi in another, and eventually the CPS1 multi for the full Darksoft CPS Heaven. Heh.
- Or, get three more Big Blues, four SSF2 Tournament Edition CPS2 setups, and pick up four of the communication PCB reproductions Darksoft also makes, and have a full on tournament setup.
- One of these days I’ll have one of those. But first comes the house big enough to house them. lol.

- The dark stalkers looks like a good staring point. Missing the front cp brackets. I would do some bondo work it and paint it if you want it to be new again. Hopefully the monitor is working ok.
- The 1st gen is rough. That’s going to be a lot of work…

- Some local pickers put this cab up for sale. Too high for my price but had some good pics since I know there were people looking into Serial Numbers for cabinets?

- Not a fan personally of using non official arcade hardware. And although I am familiar with Darksoft’s kits, personally speaking I lump them in the same realm as a MAME machine for me. Though I can’t argue against its convenience. Click to expand…
