- Anyone have or make already-cut lexan for the SF2 CE control panel? There’s one on ebay but it looks like the holes are drilled for a captain commando conversion instead of a dedicated
- Also I got GoG to re-do their CE cpo since it had several errors in it. I assume they will go by the new version in the future but wouldn’t hurt to check if you’re going to order a new one.

- If anyone has a SF2CE original bezel on their cabinet that they would be able to take a few measurements of, I would greatly appreciate it.

- Anyone know if this is some type of Big Blue?

- I have a black cabinet with a tall marquee. I need to take pics, but I thought it was a punisher cabinet. It’s currently soul caliber in there, but it’s a kit.
- I was just going to street fighter it, but I have not gotten to it.

- Another black cab that gets mistaken for a painted over big blue is Dragon’s Lair II.

- Your cabinet is definitely not a CE/Captain Commando, as the control panel sticks out the sides (the CP’s are lined up and tucked into the sidewalls on those). Which just has me scratching my head even more.
- I wish you had the tags on the back. It would help us work out when the cabinet appeared and give us another clue.
- Weird. Don’t toss them out. Click to expand…

- I think it was either a pure cost-saving measure or maybe Q-Sound was proprietary to Capcom so Dynamo made a run of generic big blues without it

- Well…I think we have to now go with this style of speaker being a thing that happened. And not so much a one-off some op did. Especially if they’re in two different parts of the country.
- Looks like we have a mystery on our hands…

- Just got a Big Blue cab with Q-sound from a forum member here. Also pretty excited as this is actually my very first arcade cab. This thread has been amazing, and I definitely have some questions and wondered if you guys can help.
- The cab currently has a CPS2 game in it (Marvel Super Heroes) and I am able to switch other CPS2 games with it fine. Currently, it is my only cab and my goal is to be able use CPS1 games on it and easily switch from CPS2 <—> CPS1 with quick disconnects/adapters. I am new to the whole arcade hobby, and need a bit of guidance on how to do this.
- I currently have a CPS1 Street Fighter 2: WW PCB and it boots up fine. However, I have at least two issues:
-
- There is no sound. I am assuming this is because this Big Blue is wired for Q-Sound and SF2:WW is mono. What is the best and most convenient way to get sound from CPS1 and CPS2 PCBs to my speakers; is there an adapter?
-
- The kick harness plugs are different in CPS1 and CPS2. I would hate to rewire the control panel each time. Is there an adapter available that converts from CPS2 —> CPS1? If someone can make me an adapter, I would gladly pay for it?
- I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but thought it would be appropriate since I assumed that most of the folks here would be Capcom fans with similar questions. However, if this is inappropriate, please let me know where to go. Thanks in advance for any help!
