Slight update. Ended up being busy last weekend and couldn’t take pics of my stuff to send to boostin4hp. I travel to the Bay Area during the week for work, so I am a weekend warrior only. Will do it tomorrow then send them off to boostin4hp. Will post pics here was well.

Speaker replacement for 1st gen big blue
can anyone recommend a good speaker replacement option for a 1st gen big blue? Thanks.

Apologies everyone. I have got caught up with work and have not had a lot of time in the past month. Will get the CP’s out to boostin4hp this week and update everyone then.

boostin4hp tells me some other forum member reached out to him for the same thing and is offering the Gen 1 panel to him for the effort. I think that member might have gotten impatient with me or whatever. That’s kind of not cool. But in the end as long as it is made available and helps everyone, I am cool with it. So boostin4hp told me to sit tight on sending the Gen 1 panel to him. It will probably happen faster for that panel now. Sorry for the delay guys. Work has been nuts and I am a commuter from the SF Bay Area who lives in the Central Valley so I can’t get to things all the time unless it is on weekends.
As for the Gen 2 two-player panel, I am still going to see if boostin4hp wants to repro that. Waiting his reply.

Welp I bought it. Hopefully it will fit my first gen big blue. If it doesn’t, I’ll build a bigger top box for one of my second gen cabinets.

The Gen 2 and Gen 1 marquee’s are the same dimensions and they will fit just fine. I have both cab types and a number of OG marquee’s. They are interchangeable. They won’t fit the Snub-tops for obvious reasons.
Keep your eye out on that eBay seller. That is the 4th one he has sold for that price in the past week. He might have more.

Which vendor has the best SF2CE marquee reproduction? I have seen a few that seem to be cut off on the top and bottom by the mounting flanges. Want to know which one I should get to avoid the misalignment.
