- My first homemade Gen 2 repro panel is getting close to being done. Kidkaos loaned me his panel to make the trace with a router since my panel is a bit beat up. The acryllic is rounded/champfered over on the all edges, except for the top edge. Also, the holes for the joystick are rounded over as I intend to sandwich the joystick dust cover between the top of the joystick base and the underside of the panel. That dust cover tends to scratch up the acryllic if simply laid on top, gets in the way at times with gaming, and for aesthetic reasons I feel it is better to sandwich it in. I have actually seen players have open wounds on the edge of their palms and fingers as a result of the dust cover and the acryllic not being rounded over. Will flame torch the rounded over edges so they are nice and smooth too.
- I think I have figured out how to mount the joystick without drilling mounting holes through the panel, then of course, detracting from the artwork. I feel it will be an improvement over the OEM design. Now waiting for my overlays to come in from escapepodonline and will post more pics then.

- Has anyone, or is anyone converting/restoring their Big Blue into a Punisher? Szabo has his art out. I’ll be doing mine soon.

- On the punisher pre order post, there is a pic of both cp side by side. Maybe it’s the camera angle but the punisher cp looks like it has a more 90°ish angle and the regular one are 45°ish

- It was sadly converted to a golden tee and some other game over its life but it’s complete and will need filled in or metal plate on top

- The fronts are the same. The CP comparison just has the monitor bezel laying on top of the CP due to reasons. You can see it’s just resting on the CP instead of being installed under the glass. Click to expand…

- Side note as I saw it was posted a few pages back, but apparently there’s a showcase style Big Blue. A guy in Louisiana is looking to sell this xmen version.
